About Me 

 I currently have 23 years experience of working with young people and families across several settings and services. My career path started as a football coach for Blackburn Rovers football club where I gained my level 2 in sports and recreation. This then led me to work with children who needed that extra support and guidance and also children on child protection plans or with other specific individual needs.I spent 16 years of this time working for Blackburn with Darwen Children Services where I gained vast amounts of experience and finished as a deputy team manager. This has seen me working with children with disabilities and children who need high levels of support. I currently have an NVQ 3 and 4 in Health & Social care and a level 5 diploma in leadership and management. I have also had a fantastic opportunity to work as a senior family practitioner working with children and families needing intense support and guidance through a period of assessment for Sisu Services. I have always had a passion and a strength to engage and empower young people and founded STYLE Mentoring in 2023 with a belief that we can really make a difference and help young people back where they need to be.
