Our 12 week programme
Target ages 11-16
Ethos and aims
STYLE’s 12-week preventative programme engages young people who may need some additional support away from the classroom environment. This programme aims to give young people direction,
purpose, self esteem and most importantly a voice. We aim to build a relationship through listening to
young people, setting boundaries, setting and achieving goals and problem solving, as well as supporting
with emotional regulation.
Ideology:
Using exercise and team building to support child development
Engaging in group activities fosters teamwork, cooperation and communications skills.
Improved social skills.
Increased self-discipline
Children learn self-discipline and self-regulation when they set and achieve their fitness goals

Week 1 – 3 orientation phase

Community Work And Support
Style can develop community tailored programmes to achieve targeted outcomes, community cohesion, and develop new skills and promote goals and aspirations.
This can be delivered either through 1-1 mentoring or group sessions.
